I am a freelance photojournalist based in the Washington, DC Metro area. I’ve traveled and shot in locations such as India, the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Ireland, France, and, of course, Washington, DC. You can view my online portfolio here.

I am currently pursuing projects in the Washington, DC area but I will be traveling again to Israel/Palestine in late 2009 or early 2010 to pursue one independent project and one NGO project.

Being a freelance photographer allows me to exercise a degree of freedom over my work that may not be available to other photographers. However, this also means that my work is rarely as lucrative as it might otherwise be. I have decided to give up other more lucrative paths in order to focus on projects that I feel deserve attention. As a result, I am often forced to finance each of my own projects and travel.
